Farm Boy Farms, where beer’s two vital ingredients — hops and grain — are grown, sits on some of the most beautiful land in North Carolina. Barley and wheat are cultivated, harvested, and then malted, bringing out the sugars that ferment to make alcohol. When Farm Boy’s silos are filled, they have enough ingredients to make 80,000 beers.”
